Woman of Intention & Impact Event

Updated: Oct 3, 2022

On June 5th, 2022, VOB started the year with a new workshop series. Under the theme "Woman of Intention & Impact.” Latoya’s visions were to create a space where like-minded women of all ages and from different stages of life could network in an uplifting and empowering environment and engage with their and their fellow attendees' lives and their goals and aspirations in a variety of ways.

Every day, many women deal with the question of how they can combine their wishes, demands, and tasks, and how they can live up to them. Answering this question requires a conscious examination of one's own life, one's responsibilities, accountability, and the meaning of individual tasks, desires, and how to successfully achieve those. What do I want? What do I need to be truly satisfied? How do I achieve my personal goals while mastering my challenges and tasks?

Half an hour before admission, workshop participants gathered in anticipation at the Stirling Club in Las Vegas. 34 attended the invitation-only event, although the event was originally planned for only 25 women. Latoya Johnson, the founder of Village of Becoming, opened the event with a powerful speech about the purpose of the event, the importance of events organized by women for women, and the importance of women supporting women.

Through a series of interactive activities that addressed areas such as personal development, emotional intelligence, and personal and professional experiences, the women had the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and take an in-depth look at themselves and their current situation, but also their past and their goals. There was no competition or rivalry among the participants - positive vibes only!

After four hours packed with workshops and programs in a room full of amazing chemistry, powerful and enlightening energy, transparency, honesty, and kindness, numerous contacts exchanged, new acquaintances, numerous photos, and new impressions, the event was officially over. However, most of the women stayed on to make further contacts, exchange ideas, and relax as the afternoon ended.

We would like to thank all participants for their sincerity, honesty, love, openness, and transparency in attending our event. We are overwhelmed by the positive feedback and amazed by your openness and positivity, which made this event very special.
